Edition 18 - Alcobaça

It seems that the Cornucópias were created in 12th century.  These sweets are stuffed with soft eggs, made with yolks and sugar.

The Alcobaça apple is a unique blend of nine apple varieties. It's a Protected Geographical Indication  product and a focal point for a local tourism route, with a harvest period from August to November, known for its exceptional taste and crispness due to Alcobaça's micro-climate.
