Opened in 2002, the centre of arts & shows CAE - Centro de Artes e Espectáculos was designed by the Portuguese architect Luís Marçal Grilo.
Located in the green Abadias quarter, in Figueira da Foz, CAE is an outstanding example of contemporary architecture and a must-see spot of the city. It is a truly remarkable building with noble materials, along woth a great connection between the inner and the outer spaces.
Ideal for congresses and great scale events, the Great Auditorium has a capacity of 800 seats, offering unique acoustic conditions. The small auditorium has a capacity of 220 seats. The perfect place for more intimate performances.
The best for last: the brilliant amphitheatre, located in the outdoor gardens, is connected to the stage of the Auditorium. 600 sq meters of sheer splendour in the grass!
