The historical recreation of the connection between Aveiro and Macinhata do Vouga is a 2-hour journey, crossing 30 km of incredible natural settings.Vouga railway line was inaugurated by King D. Manuel in 1908. Known as "Linha do Vale das Voltas" because of its sinuous design, with curves and counter-curves and many geographic contrasts, this century-old railway line is 96 km long, connecting Espinho-Vouga to Aveiro across 44 train stations.
