Located in Abrantes downtown, an hour from Lisbon Airport, and with a panoramic view of Tagus Valley, Luna Hotel Turismo officially reopened its doors on June 2nd, 2007, after a major restoration that brought sophistication and modernity to the hotel. Under the "boutique hotel" concept, Luna Hotel Turismo combines the classic concept with the diversity of complementary services related to the business, leisure, and wellness sectors.
Opened in 1954, the old Hotel Turismo in Abrantes was designed by the architect Vasco Lacerda Marques and it was considered one of the most classic hotels in Portugal. A truly charming hotel that seduced its guests with immense glamour and absolute comfort.
Turismo has 44 rooms, among which are 37 double rooms and 2 suites, a
restaurant, bar, event room, health club, gym, pool, tennis court, and business
center, with free Wi-Fi available throughout the hotel. All the rooms are
equipped with an air conditioner, safe, hair dryer, and cable TV. This hotel is
the starting point to discover the historic center of the city of Abrantes,
with its castle and quaint streets.
