Housed in the former train station building of Curia, Wine Tourism and Passion Store showcases the excellence of Bairrada wines and its high-quality regional products.
The train station building dates to 1944 and it was designed by the prestigious architect Cotinelli Telmo, who was also responsible for the remodelling of Rossio train station in Lisbon and the creation of the university city in Coimbra. This building also presents remarkable tile panels, designed by Jorge Barradas, depicting rural bucolic scenes, so typical of those times.
The store is open from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 14:30 to 19:00 and closes on Sunday.
The Bairrada Wine Route has launched an online wine shop, where wine aficionados can find the exquisite wines of Bairrada wine region, famous for its distinguished sparkling wines! There are over 400 wines available for purchase.
