"Suspension" by Joana Vasconcelos
World-acclaimed Portuguese visual artist, Joana Vasconcelos, has conceived the stunning work "Suspension", a 28 meter-high rosary, inaugurated in 2017 during the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the Apparitions, placed vertically in the Church of the Most Holy Trinity. Today this work can be seen from an horizontal perspective upon a replica of Leonardo Da Vinci's Vetruvian Man.

"Psalterium" by Ana Bonifácio
Created by the architect Ana Bonifácio, the work "Psalterium" integrates the temporary exhibit "Rosarium: Joy and Light, Pain and Glory". The rosaries are literally the symbol of the connection between heaven and earth. The bond that unites all pilgrims during their spiritual journey to Fátima.

Precious Crown of Our Lady of Fátima
Apart from its unquestionable value, the precious Crown of Our Lady of Fátima owns a deep symbolic meaning. It contains a non-precious element: the bullet of the assassination attempt on Pope John Paul II. Definitely, the most important piece treasured by the Shrine of Fátima.

Chapel of the Apparitions
The Chapel of the Apparitions is the heart of Fátima Shrine. Built in 1919, two years after the request of Our Lady of Fátima: "I want you to build a chapel here in my honour".

Faith beads
The rosary business in Fátima goes back to the 20's of the 20th century. Although some part of this activity has preserved a handmade dimension, nowadays the most successful rosary-making company in Portugal, Farportugal sells mostly to the foreign markets, producing 1 million rosaries every year. Even scented rosaries.
