Housed in the former primary school of the village Catraia Cimeira, near the welcoming inland city of Castelo Branco, Raízes (“roots) is a tribute to a grandfather named António. He founded the school in the 40’s and his granddaughter Fátima paid him a due homage by opening a one-of-a-kind accommodation at the heart of nature. A gateway to another world.
This cosy accommodation consists of 4 apartments, 3 of them have 2 rooms and one with only one room. All apartments are equipped with kitchenette, bathroom and a private terrace. Interior design is a mix of rural elements and contemporary minimalist inspirations.

Raízes has a beautiful garden with fruit trees, bushes and an inviting outdoor swimming pool.
