Tourism in Portugal

The Alcobaça apple is a unique blend of nine apple varieties. It's a Protected Geographical Indication  product and a focal point for a local tourism route, with a harvest period from August to November, known for its exceptional taste and crispness due to Alcobaça's micro-climate.

Belmonte is, perhaps, the Portuguese town with the strongest Jewish presence and it stands out because it was a unique case, within the Iberian Peninsula, where Hebrew culture and tradition have lasted since the early 16th century until today.

The rosary business in Fátima goes back to the 20's of the 20th century.
