Heated pools in Buarcos beach, Figueira da Foz

No need to worry about the rather challenging water temperature in Buarcos beach, in the enchanting coastal city of Figueira da Foz! There is now a pleasant salt pool, heated by solar panels, where beach-goers can make the most of Summer! This pool is ideal for families and children, because of its low depth. A second heated pool will be opened next to the Clock Tower, in São Julião.

Natural pools of Cortes do Meio, Serra da Estrela

The Mountain Village of Cortes do Meio, located in the council of Covilhã, 12 km away from Unhais da Serra, is known as capital of the natural pools. There are at least 12 natural pools with refreshing crystal-clear waters and surprising natural settings.

Born out of the snow of winter, these waters are an inescapable refreshing blessing during Summer time!

Foz d’Égua, Portugal’s most beautiful river beach
