Is it true that the word "saudade" only exists in the Portuguese language? The answer is not so straight-forward. Back in 1610, the grammarian Duarte Nunes de Leão argued that "no other language can explain the meaning of saudade". Does this word describe a feeling that only native Portuguese speakers can grasp? 

World-acclaimed Portuguese visual artist, Joana Vasconcelos, has conceived the stunning work "Suspension", a 28 meter-high rosary, inaugurated in 2017 during the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the Apparitions, placed vertically in the Church of the Most Holy Trinity. Today this work can be seen from an horizontal perspective upon a replica of Leonardo Da Vinci's Vetruvian Man. 

Belmonte is, perhaps, the Portuguese town with the strongest Jewish presence and it stands out because it was a unique case, within the Iberian Peninsula, where Hebrew culture and tradition have lasted since the early 16th century until today.
