Designed by the young architects Bernardo Castro and Filipe Gonçalves, Encosta do Sobreiro is a 2,5 ha estate heavenly located at the heart of Geopark Serra da Estrela.

This is definitely a refuge of modernity in perfect harmony with the involving nature. This new mountain spot integrates contemporary inspirations, prevailing design and sheer comfort. Interior design was brilliantly conceived by Ana Sofia Silva.

Encosta do Sobreiro features 4 independent houses: Casa da Quinta, Casa da Lareira, Casa do Postigo and Casa do Socalco.

Casa da Quinta is a 2-storey design house with direct access to the garden, as well as 4 rooms (including 2 suites), a fully equipped kitchen and 2 living rooms.

Casa da Lareira stands out for its comfort and exquisite décor, offering truly spacious areas. It includes 2 suites, a fully equipped kitchen and living room.

Casa do Postigo is a deeply cosy accommodation featuring 2 rooms (including 1 suite), a fully equipped kitchen and living room.

Finally, Casa do Socalco is beautifully integrated in the surrounding natural setting, providing 2 rooms with direct access to the garden, equipped kitchen and living room. There is also a table for meals and sunshade.

Ideal for family stays, Encosta do Sobreiro offer private swimming pools, a common salt water swimming pool, as well as many activities such as volleyball, football, trampoline, turnball, table tennis and so on.

Nearby visitors can discover the challenging Mondego Walkways, Geopark Estrela, the river beach Ponte dos Juncais, the 12 Historical Villages of Portugal or go on exciting jeep tours across the region.

Encosta do Sobreiro is located 2 hours and 11 minutes away from Oporto Airporto, while the city of Guarda can be reached in 30 minutes.
