These 930 m-long walkways connect Côa Museum to the deactivated train station of Côa, near the mouth of River Côa, facing the Douro River.

Antony Lyons will develop a piece of art made with natural materials that respect its decay in the landscape, but that will be a real building that pays tribute and gives new life (artistic) to the dovecotes of the region. The piece will stay at the Faia Brava Reserve, partner of this initiative.

Organised by Rewilding Portugal, the 1st edition of the festival Côa - Corredor das Artes will be held on the 5 weekends of July in 5 different locations of the Great Côa Valley: Sabugal, Faia Brava Natural Reserve - Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo, Pinhel, Côa Museum - Vila Nova de Foz Côa and in the Historical Village of Almeida. The festival seeks to connect artists with communities in a natural environment, the Great Côa Valley, in order to co-create art pieces that melt into the landscape.

The Great Route of Côa Valley is a magical 196 km-long route along the Côa river from the spring in Fóios in Sabugal to the river estuary in Douro River in Vila Nova de Foz Côa.

Côa Museum has launched the first biological olive oil produced in the lands of the Archaeological Park of Côa Valley. This outstanding product can be bought online on the website of the Côa Museum or at the museum shop.

Located between Douro river and Malcata Mountain range, the Great Valley of Côa is an absolutely striking region with a truly rich natural, cultural and historical heritage. A group of local enterprises based in this territory created a new business network – Wild Côa Network – in order to put Côa Valley on the sustainable tourism agenda.
